“Grow through what you go through!”

In my childhood I knew I wanted to pursue a career with animals but wasn't sure what career path to choose. In 2021 I was hired at a small doggy daycare as my first job and from there I knew I wanted a career in dog grooming watching all of the freshley groomed dogs walk into daycare! When I started my job at a small grooming salon as a bather I knew that this was my passion and from there I developed my skills in dog grooming. Fast forward to today I am a certified junior groomer, still developing my skills everyday but confident in the direction I am going.

I am the oldest of four girls and grew up here in Winnipeg in a small home in north kildonan. Growing up I always had a love for animals, always watching any kind of animal/nature documentary I could find and spending time outside. I love the outdoors so much my apartment is filled with plants and fish tanks so when i'm not out for a hike or walk i'm always surrounded by nature! So when i'm not grooming you can find me outside on a walk with my gorgeous girl Lucille touching some grass or inside watering my plants or tending to my tanks! 

My career in dog grooming started summer of 2023 where I got hired at a local professional salon, I started as a bather and over the next two and a half years I have been developing my skills. Nearing the end of 2024 I began learning full grooms as well as hand-stripping, learning the ins and outs of dog grooming. I am CPPS certified and thrilled to be joining the Urban Tails team to further my career! I can't wait to meet my new clients!
