Our salon stylists are trained to handle all breed and fur types. At Urban Tails we categorize all de-shedding services into 3 categories and subcategorize by your pups weight. To determine what category your dog falls under, take a look at their fur type. A short coat that can only be smoothed down into one direction? You have a smooth-coated friend. Some examples would include Pugs, Labradors, Boxers, Great Danes, and Beagles. If your pup has two layers consisting of a softer base and longer hairs as the top coat? That cutie is a double-coated breed. Some examples include Huskies, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, and -. And finally, is your pup fur longer than 1.5 inches and thick? That's a heavy double-coated sweetheart. Some examples include St. Bernese, Newfoundlands, Great Pyrenees, and Pomeranians.
