Dolly
Dolly captured my heart the moment I met her. On a rainy May morning in 2019 her amazing foster mom came into the store and we got to talking about our mutual favourite topic - dogs! To make a long story short, I mentioned I was waiting for my perfect canine match and she went to her car and came in holding Dolly! The rest is pretty much history. Dolly is an amazing bestie, who routinely takes up most of the bed at night, and is always ready for an adventure with her family. Dolly is a big fan of K9 Choice Raw and Smack for dinner and pretty much any bully stick (the larger the better) for treats! She is a complete blessing to our family.
Odin
In 2020 the world shut down and Dolly really needed a big dog friend to thrive with. Once again, the Universe was already a step ahead of me, and that same amazing foster mom was caring for a dog she felt would be a perfect match for Dolly in both size and activity level so we went to check it out. Odin was 4 months old and 50 pounds when I took him home and it was clear he was going to be a very big guy! Despite his now intimidating size, I can attest to the fact that Odin is a real lover. He is such an amazing boy who loves to be right by my side all of the time. Dolly and him are the best of friends and he captures the heart of everyone he meets. He is gorgeous on the inside and out. Believe it or not, Odin is a very picky eater with a palate that enjoys the finer things. He is strictly a K9 Choice or Iron Will Raw guy sprinkled with a little bit of SMACK. As for treats, he is on the same page as his sister, bully sticks all the way!
Lacey
In every pack there is a ringleader - the one that starts the commotion and in this family that would be Lacey! She loves to bark, at well, everything and rouses the troops a little often for no reason at all! Despite her barky tendencies, Lacey is a very loving and loyal girl who sticks so close to us we don’t even need a leash when walking with her. Her and Lizzy love to play (ok, maybe Lizzy loves it and Lacey tolerates it). Lacey is actually allergic to “anything with a feather” and because of her I have learned a lot about dogs with food allergies. Figuring out what “works” is a process, but our own experience in this department is one of the reasons we strive to have so many limited ingredient food options for our customers. Lacey is also our canine matriarch, having recently celebrated her 13th birthday
Lizzy
I often refer to my dogs as the “Royal Family” because well, they have it pretty darn good. Unexpectedly, on the same day Queen Elizabeth passed away, a small dog came into the care of a rescue I work with. She was named Elizabeth, we call her Lizzy, and despite her small dog chihuahua size she had a big dog heart! She fit into our pack perfectly and I can honestly say I have never met a dog who is so happy. Lizzy is pure love and joy bundled in a little spitfire body of energy. She is often at the store with me working as our in house greeter / security guard. Appetite wise, Lizzy is not picky at all. She enjoys the same dinners as her big siblings but really loves anything fish!
Kenzie
Valifer
He is 1 1/2 years old from MAA - he has the typical cattle dog mentality! He's a bull! His favourite thing from the store is his raw food! He absolutely loves it! He has been on it since he was weaned! He also loves all his Tuffy toys!
Whiskee
Whiskee is a 2 year old coonhound mix she is full of light and bubbly! Her favourite thing from the store is definitely all the toys and treat! Shes a hound she can’t pick! She loves everything!
Bentley
Bentley is an 11 year old Great Pyrenees border collie I’ve had him since he was born he’s a pretty chill guy for the most part his favourite thing from the store is definitely smoked bones and all the different treats! He has a favourite toy his beloved monkey! I have had to replace his money about 15 times throughout the years because another dog will chew it! It’s great to have them close by!
Roxy
Roxy is a 14 year old boarder collier she was my first dog of my own I rescued her from a farm just outside of Brandon! Roxy is a senior now but she is full of energy her favourite thing from the store is definitely all the squeaky toys she loves her outward hound tootiez pink sheep and her petsport rubber chicken! She picked it herself!
Paisley
Paisley is an 8 months old I got her from beausejour as a kitten! She loves to eat! Her favourite foods from the store are cat smack and bold by nature cat raw!
Freddy
Freddy was my first pet ever she’s a 17 year old grey and white cat. Freddy loves to be outside in the warmer months Freddy has always picky she enjoys many different high quality wet foods from the store even throughout her old age!
She loves all the different flavours Canada fresh offers!
